How to master difficult conduit runs with the right cable pulling systems!
Cable pulling systems are the heart of every electrical and telecommunications installation; they enable the fast, safe pulling of cables through conduits, shafts, and walls, without any damage to the line or material. With the right pulling tool unproductive working hours and expensive labor costs are eliminated, while employee motivation is kept high.
Are you familiar with the following challenges in basic domestic installations? Here are our recommended cable pulling systems:
Conduit pipes in domestic installations with tight bend radii:
Conduit pipes in standard domestic installations which already contain cables:
Depending on the pipe diameter, push-stable fiberglass rods Ø 3mm and Ø 4.5mm are effective, as they are slim and do not damage existing cables.
► Our recommendations: GF3 with meter counter or GF3 without meter counter or GF3 SLIM.
FTTH (Fiber to the Home) retrofitting into existing pipes:
An extremely thin, flexible, yet push-stable and high-tensile fiberglass rod with a narrow guide head.
► Our recommendation: GF3 SLIM with 3mm fiberglass rod and only 4.5mm guide head.
«Fishing» / Pulling cables and pipes into suspended ceilings, raised floors, and wall systems that cannot be opened, or where openings are only possible at the start and destination:
Extendable and flexible rods as well as accessories such as LED light, Magnet, Ball Chain, Hook and Ring. Folding rules that break or assembled pipe sections are poorly suited.
► Our Recommendation: RunpoSticks with 10x1m basalt rods and goal-oriented accessories.

Long and sometimes dirty conduit pipes and/or tight pipe bends. No way through.
push hard and turn at the same time!

Are you familiar with the following challenges in basic domestic installations? Here are our recommended cable pulling systems:
Robust RP1 plastic tape for pipes Ø 32–100 mm, combines high tensile strength with low friction. Ideal for pulling lengths up to 80 m – durable, efficient, and predestined for demanding electrical installations.
Modular basalt rod set Ø 4.5–7.5 mm, ideal for complex ducts & cavities. Made of a dimensionally stable basalt fiber core, robust and temperature-resistant. Includes magnet, LED light, hook & carrying bag – flexible, safe, and light for electrical service professionals.
The problem solver! Push forward powerfully and quickly while turning. Overcome the tightest radii by rotating the MET4 Spiral. A high torque of the MET4 Spiral is generated using a cordless screwdriver.
Metal spiral Ø 4 mm up to 50 m length, extremely robust and high tensile strength up to 170 kg. Dead weight assists cable tracking in vertical applications. (Never apply to live parts!). Ideal in combination with the problem solver RT 2008.
Challenges with supply lines and long conduit runs e.g., in industry, roads, underground, etc. Further cable pulling system solutions:
Long supply lines without junction boxes in domestic installations with tight bend radii:
A push-stable and flexible cable pulling tape with the right guide head or a roller solves the problem of difficult cable pulling.
► Our Recommendations: Up to pipe diameter 32mm RP5 (Runpo 5) Pipe diameter 32-80mm GF4.5 or GF6.
► Our Recommendations: Up to pipe diameter 32mm RP5 (Runpo 5) Pipe diameter 32-80mm GF4.5 or GF6.
Long conduit pipes with larger diameters where flexible pulling tapes tend to spiral up inside the pipe:
Relatively rigid fiberglass rods with various tips such as shackles, pear-shaped heads, or rollers.
► Our Recommendations: Fiberglass rods GF6, GF7, GF9, GF11
► Our Recommendations: Fiberglass rods GF6, GF7, GF9, GF11
Heavy cable pulling into long pipes or across multiple floors:
A compact and mobile pulling machine replaces up to 8 people for strenuous cable pulling.
► Our Recommendation: Capstan Winch CW 800 as well as matching pulling ropes and cable pulling grips
► General Recommendation: Deflection rollers for resistance-free pulling around corners and edges, and lubricant GEL, Spray or Foam facilitate cable pulling enormously.

More facts about the individual solutions and pulling systems:
Fiberglass rods in Ø 4.5 / 6 / 7.5 / 9 / 11 / 15 mm, ideal for conduit pipes Ø 50–450 mm. Lengths up to 400 m, breaking loads up to 6,200 kg. Expandable, assembly-friendly & high-load-bearing – for large-scale laying in grid construction.
Compact, low-maintenance capstan winch (pulling machine) with controlled power transmission – perfect for high pulling loads of up to 800 kg. Can be combined with pulling ropes, swivel joints and cable pulling grips. Ideal for large construction sites, grid construction projects with a focus on safety, efficiency, and resource-saving work.
